A robust construction, high pressure resistance, easy readability, and innovative technical functionality: these are the key features of the Aquatimer dive watches IWC has been engineering since 1967 and that are used by both professional and recreational scuba divers. The Aquatimer Automatic is a dive watch water-resistant to 30 bar in a 42-millimeter case made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel. The diving-relevant indications on the black dial are coated with green luminous material to ensure optimum legibility under water. At work inside the case is the IWC-manufactured 32111 caliber, which features automatic winding and a power reserve of 120 hours. The innovative external/internal rotating bezel combines ease of use with safety. The rotation of the external bezel is transmitted via a sliding clutch system to the internal bezel. The SafeDive system ensures that the inner ring with the dive time scale always rotates counterclockwise. Therefore, even in the event of an unintentional adjustment, the dive time can never be extended, and the diver's safety is guaranteed at all times. Thanks to the IWC quick-change system, the stainless steel bracelet can be exchanged for another strap effortlessly.

Technical information about this watch
IWC Schaffhausen Aquatimer Automatic
300M / 30 ATM water resistance
Water resistance indicates a watch's ability to withstand moisture and water. Ratings are measured in metres (M) or atmospheres (ATM). For instance, 30M (3 ATM) is suitable for light splashes, while 100M (10 ATM) and above are ideal for swimming and diving. Regular maintenance helps retain water resistance over time.
IWC Calibre 32111 Automatic movement
Watch movements are the mechanisms that power timekeeping, coming in automatic, manual, and quartz types. Automatic movements self-wind using wrist motion, manual movements require hand-winding, and quartz movements are battery-powered for precise timekeeping. Each type offers unique benefits, catering to different preferences and lifestyles.
42mm case size
Case size, measured in millimetres (mm), impacts the watch's look and fit. Men's watches typically range from 38mm to 46mm, and women's from 26mm to 36mm. Larger cases make a bold statement, while smaller cases offer a classic look. Choosing the right size ensures comfort and style.
120 hours power reserve
Power reserve is the duration a watch runs on a full wind or charge. Mechanical watches usually offer 40 to 80 hours, with some extending to several days. Quartz watches, powered by batteries, last several years. Knowing the power reserve helps maintain accurate timekeeping.
