Discover the SLGB003G from Grand Seiko
Since Grand Seiko's founding in 1960, the relentless pursuit of high accuracy has been central to its identity. This commitment led to the development of Spring Drive in the late 1970s—a groundbreaking fusion of traditional mainspring energy and cutting-edge electronic timekeeping. In 2004, the Spring Drive Caliber 9R65 debuted with a monthly precision of ±15 seconds. Now, Grand Seiko sets a new benchmark with the Spring Drive Caliber 9RB2, earning the new U.F.A. (Ultra Fine Accuracy) designation. With an astonishing annual accuracy of ±20 seconds, it stands as the world’s most precise mainspring-powered wristwatch movement to date.*

100M / 10 ATM water resistance
Water resistance indicates a watch's ability to withstand moisture and water. Ratings are measured in metres (M) or atmospheres (ATM). For instance, 30M (3 ATM) is suitable for light splashes, while 100M (10 ATM) and above are ideal for swimming and diving. Regular maintenance helps retain water resistance over time.

Calibre 9RB2 Automatic movement
Caliber 9RB2 marks a new pinnacle in Grand Seiko’s pursuit of precision, earning the U.F.A. (Ultra Fine Accuracy) designation for its remarkable annual accuracy of ±20 seconds—approximately ±3 seconds per month. This next-generation Spring Drive movement is powered by a mainspring and achieves its precision through innovations like a three-month-aged in-house quartz oscillator, a newly designed temperature-compensating IC, and a regulator switch that minimizes aging-related deviations. With automatic and manual winding, a 72-hour power reserve, 34 jewels, and features including the Offset Magic Lever, One-piece Center Bridge, power reserve indicator, and date display, Caliber 9RB2 redefines high-accuracy mechanical timekeeping.

37mm case size
Case size, measured in millimetres (mm), impacts the watch's look and fit. Men's watches typically range from 38mm to 46mm, and women's from 26mm to 36mm. Larger cases make a bold statement, while smaller cases offer a classic look. Choosing the right size ensures comfort and style.

72 hours power reserve
Power reserve is the duration a watch runs on a full wind or charge. Mechanical watches usually offer 40 to 80 hours, with some extending to several days. Quartz watches, powered by batteries, last several years. Knowing the power reserve helps maintain accurate timekeeping.
