Discover the SBGA413G from Grand Seiko
This modern reinterpretation of the iconic 1967 Grand Seiko 62GS preserves the original’s bezel-free construction, creating a seamless flow between the case and crystal. Zaratsu-polished surfaces and sharp angles enhance its distortion-free brilliance, while the wide dial opening draws the eye to its captivating centerpiece. Inspired by Hana-Ikada—the fleeting beauty of cherry blossom petals drifting on a river after the spring equinox—the soft pink, textured dial reflects the elegance of Sakura and the transience of time. Powered by the Spring Drive Caliber 9R65, the watch is hand-assembled by the artisans of the Shinshu Watch Studio.

Technical information about this watch
Grand Seiko Heritage "Shunbun" 40mm

100M / 10 ATM water resistance
Water resistance indicates a watch's ability to withstand moisture and water. Ratings are measured in metres (M) or atmospheres (ATM). For instance, 30M (3 ATM) is suitable for light splashes, while 100M (10 ATM) and above are ideal for swimming and diving. Regular maintenance helps retain water resistance over time.

Calibre 9R65 Automatic movement
Caliber 9R65 is the most widely used movement in the 9R Spring Drive series, known for its precision, durability, and reliability. Although the first Spring Drive watch launched in 1999, it took four more years of development to create a version that met Grand Seiko’s standards. The result was an upgrade from manual winding with a 48-hour reserve to an automatic system with a 72-hour reserve, powered by an enhanced Magic Lever mechanism for improved efficiency and durability. It offers ±1 second per day accuracy, along with a power reserve indicator and date display.

40mm case size
Case size, measured in millimetres (mm), impacts the watch's look and fit. Men's watches typically range from 38mm to 46mm, and women's from 26mm to 36mm. Larger cases make a bold statement, while smaller cases offer a classic look. Choosing the right size ensures comfort and style.

72 hours power reserve
Power reserve is the duration a watch runs on a full wind or charge. Mechanical watches usually offer 40 to 80 hours, with some extending to several days. Quartz watches, powered by batteries, last several years. Knowing the power reserve helps maintain accurate timekeeping.
