Introducing the Mark XX, a pilot’s watch that epitomizes simplicity and technical precision. As the successor to the legendary Mark 11, originally crafted by IWC in 1948 for the navigators and pilots of the British Royal Air Force, the Mark XX continues this tradition with modern enhancements. The watch boasts a 40-millimetre stainless steel case, known for its robustness and corrosion resistance. Its white dial is complemented by black hands and high-contrast black numerals and indices. The dial features a triangular index at 12 o’clock and luminous elements, ensuring excellent readability in any lighting conditions. Powered by the IWC-manufactured 32111 calibre, the Mark XX offers automatic winding and a remarkable power reserve of 120 hours. The front glass is specially secured to prevent detachment even in the event of a sudden pressure drop. Water-resistant to 10 bar, the Pilot’s Watch Mark XX comes with a 5-link stainless steel bracelet. Thanks to the integrated EasX-CHANGE® system, the bracelet can be easily swapped for another without the need for additional tools.

Technical information about this watch
IWC Schaffhausen Pilot's Watch Mark XX
100M / 10 ATM water resistance
Water resistance indicates a watch's ability to withstand moisture and water. Ratings are measured in metres (M) or atmospheres (ATM). For instance, 30M (3 ATM) is suitable for light splashes, while 100M (10 ATM) and above are ideal for swimming and diving. Regular maintenance helps retain water resistance over time.
IWC Calibre 32111 Automatic movement
Watch movements are the mechanisms that power timekeeping, coming in automatic, manual, and quartz types. Automatic movements self-wind using wrist motion, manual movements require hand-winding, and quartz movements are battery-powered for precise timekeeping. Each type offers unique benefits, catering to different preferences and lifestyles.
40mm case size
Case size, measured in millimetres (mm), impacts the watch's look and fit. Men's watches typically range from 38mm to 46mm, and women's from 26mm to 36mm. Larger cases make a bold statement, while smaller cases offer a classic look. Choosing the right size ensures comfort and style.
120 hours power reserve
Power reserve is the duration a watch runs on a full wind or charge. Mechanical watches usually offer 40 to 80 hours, with some extending to several days. Quartz watches, powered by batteries, last several years. Knowing the power reserve helps maintain accurate timekeeping.
