Grand Seiko Elegance "Omiwatari" 38.5mm

Each winter, Lake Suwa in Japan often freezes over, forming a natural ridge across its surface—a phenomenon known as Omiwatari, or “where the gods walk.” This captivating legend serves as the inspiration for the delicately textured dial of this hand-wound Spring Drive timepiece. Crafted by the artisans at the nearby Shinshu Watch Studio, the dial evokes the quiet beauty of snow-covered ice. Housed within is the Spring Drive Caliber 9R31, equipped with a Dual Spring Barrel that provides a 72-hour power reserve. The exhibition case back reveals both the movement’s fine finishing and the power reserve indicator.
