In 2013, IWC Schaffhausen became the "Official Engineering Partner" of Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One™ Team. The Pilot's Watch Mark XX Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One™ Team is the third official team watch created by IWC Schaffhausen for their long-standing motorsport partner. Crafted from lightweight and strong titanium, the case measures 40mm. After machining and sandblasting, the surface retains its attractive greyish shimmer. The black dial is adorned with numerals and indices in the team's signature green, creating a stark contrast. The hours, minutes, and seconds hands are coated with Super-LumiNova® in the same green color. The IWC-manufactured 32111 calibre automatic movement with a power reserve of 120 hours. This watch is water resistant to 100 meters and fitted with a Petronas green rubber strap featuring the EasX-CHANGE® strap change system.
