In this updated rendition of the Portugieser Automatic 40, a three-link metal bracelet featuring polished and satin-finished surfaces lends a contemporary aesthetic, enhancing the watch's versatility and sporty appeal. The bracelet harmoniously complements the stainless steel case and the silver-plated dial adorned with blue hands and appliqués. Inspired by the original Portugieser design of the late 1930s, the clean and airy dial incorporates a small seconds subdial at 6 o'clock. Housing the timepiece is the IWC-manufactured 82200 calibre, visible through the sapphire glass case back. Strengthened with components crafted from virtually wear-free ceramic, the Pellaton winding system efficiently utilizes both directions of the rotor, accumulating a power reserve of up to 60 hours.
