The OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Master Chronometer, born out of OMEGA's maritime heritage, was introduced with the launch of the Planet Ocean line in 2005. A contemporary tribute to the brand's dive watch legacy, this stylish model boasts a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal guarding a black ceramic dial adorned with Arabic numerals and a date window at 3 o'clock. The black ceramic unidirectional bezel, featuring OMEGA Liquidmetal™ diving scale, complements the 43.5 mm stainless steel case.
Enhanced with an alveol screw-in caseback and a stainless steel bracelet equipped with a patented extendable foldover clasp, this timepiece balances rugged durability with refined aesthetics. Water-resistant to an impressive 600 meters (2000 feet / 60 bar) and equipped with a helium-escape valve, it meets the demands of professional divers. The OMEGA Master Chronometer calibre 8900, visible through the transparent caseback, has earned its Master Chronometer status by successfully passing the stringent 8 tests set by METAS (The Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology).
