The Pelagos FXD model, denoting its extra robust fixed strap bars, was developed in collaboration with the French Navy's combat swimmers. Waterproof up to 200m (660 ft), it was specifically crafted for underwater navigation, tailored for professional use. Another notable model within this lineup pays homage to the extensive history of TUDOR timepieces adorning the wrists of US Navy divers. Featuring fixed strap bars, a titanium case, a high-performance Manufacture Calibre, and a unidirectional elapsed-time rotating bezel, it epitomizes the contemporary interpretation of the classic "Milsub" (Military Submariner) from bygone eras. Drawing inspiration from the late '60s-era TUDOR Oyster Prince Submariner, it integrates elements from the US military's specifications for diving watches. In essence, the FXD range symbolizes TUDOR's collaboration with two esteemed military organizations.

Technical information about this watch

TUDOR Pelagos FXD

A water resistance icon in the shape of a shield. On the shield is a drop of water and beside the water are two lines that looks like waves.

200M / 20 ATM water resistance

Water resistance indicates a watch's ability to withstand moisture and water. Ratings are measured in metres (M) or atmospheres (ATM). For instance, 30M (3 ATM) is suitable for light splashes, while 100M (10 ATM) and above are ideal for swimming and diving. Regular maintenance helps retain water resistance over time.

Calibre MT5602 Automatic movement

Watch movements are the mechanisms that power timekeeping, coming in automatic, manual, and quartz types. Automatic movements self-wind using wrist motion, manual movements require hand-winding, and quartz movements are battery-powered for precise timekeeping. Each type offers unique benefits, catering to different preferences and lifestyles.

42mm case size

Case size, measured in millimetres (mm), impacts the watch's look and fit. Men's watches typically range from 38mm to 46mm, and women's from 26mm to 36mm. Larger cases make a bold statement, while smaller cases offer a classic look. Choosing the right size ensures comfort and style.

A power reserve icon that looks like a gauge that indicates how much power is left.

70 hours power reserve

Power reserve is the duration a watch runs on a full wind or charge. Mechanical watches usually offer 40 to 80 hours, with some extending to several days. Quartz watches, powered by batteries, last several years. Knowing the power reserve helps maintain accurate timekeeping.
