TUDOR Black Bay 58
Pickup currently unavailable at IJL
The Black Bay 58 takes its name from TUDOR's inaugural dive watch, the reference 7924, which was waterproof to 200m and debuted in 1958. Revered by collectors as the "Big Crown," its design influences echo in the aesthetics of the Black Bay 58. This year, the Black Bay 58 family welcomes two new members: the Black Bay 58 18k featuring a solid gold bracelet, and the Black Bay 58 GMT, evoking the stylish allure of the mid-century jet-setting era.

Technical information about this watch
TUDOR Black Bay 58
200M / 20 ATM water resistance
Water resistance indicates a watch's ability to withstand moisture and water. Ratings are measured in metres (M) or atmospheres (ATM). For instance, 30M (3 ATM) is suitable for light splashes, while 100M (10 ATM) and above are ideal for swimming and diving. Regular maintenance helps retain water resistance over time.
Calibre MT5402 Automatic movement
Watch movements are the mechanisms that power timekeeping, coming in automatic, manual, and quartz types. Automatic movements self-wind using wrist motion, manual movements require hand-winding, and quartz movements are battery-powered for precise timekeeping. Each type offers unique benefits, catering to different preferences and lifestyles.
39mm case size
Case size, measured in millimetres (mm), impacts the watch's look and fit. Men's watches typically range from 38mm to 46mm, and women's from 26mm to 36mm. Larger cases make a bold statement, while smaller cases offer a classic look. Choosing the right size ensures comfort and style.
70 hours power reserve
Power reserve is the duration a watch runs on a full wind or charge. Mechanical watches usually offer 40 to 80 hours, with some extending to several days. Quartz watches, powered by batteries, last several years. Knowing the power reserve helps maintain accurate timekeeping.
